Huawei’s Watch Buds watch-with-earphones has made its way to our shores. Here’s what you need to know.
Huawei has introduced a new wearable to their Watch line-up in the form of the Huawei Watch Buds. It’s not a new model in the Watch range, but the most advanced iteration to date.
The Watch Buds is a combination of the Chinese company’s smartwatch and the brand’s in-ear pods. The combo allows users to store the earbuds inside the watch, requiring no paired smartphone.
The face of the watch opens to reveal placements for the buds, which are attached to small recesses in a magnetic dock. The watch itself features a 3D curved display and steel body, delivering a high-quality and premium build for the hardware, Huawei states. It also features a full-grain leather strap in two colours.
The Huawei Watch Buds are available at a starting price of R7 500.
