Apple unveils the next instalment of the iPhone, with some notable changes this time around.
Tech giant Apple has unveiled the next iteration in the long-running iPhone range, the iPhone 15, which includes 4 models: the iPhone 15 base model, Plus, Pro and Max editions.
iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Plus
Announced in the company’s press release, the base model iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, a dual-camera set-up (48MP main camera), A16 Bionic chip, and USB-C connector. The iPhone 15 Plus is essentially the same phone with the same specs, but features a larger 6.7 inch screen. Both models support MagSafe and future Qi2 chargers for wireless charging.
Design-wise, the casing colour is infused throughout the back glass, creating five colours to choose from, and a ceramic shield front cover to protect the display.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
The iPhone 15 Pro and Max feature the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively, as the base as the base and Plus models. However, the key difference between these models and the base and Plus is the inclusion of an Action button on the side of the devices (which can be customised to trigger whatever you’d like), along with a beefed-up camera: a more advanced 48MP Main camera system that now supports the new super-high-resolution 24MP default, Focus and Depth Control, improvements to Night mode and Smart HDR, and an all-new 5x Telephoto camera exclusively on iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Both devices also include the A17 Pro chip and a USB-C connector, and are available in four different finishes, including black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
