Don’t want to fiddle with multiple PC components or dabble in rig building? Well, the Asus gaming division, ROG, now offers the G700 desktop PC to local gamers.

The ROG (Republic of Gamers) G700 comes in two variants and features either an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285K or an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, depending on which chip brand you prefer. Both are capable of buttery-smooth framerates in the latest games, ASUS says.

Speed and fidelity

Backing up that CPU power, the G700 comes equipped with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7, offering access to the latest software technology like DLSS 3.5 and Frame Generation for higher frame rates and visual fidelity.

The G700 also includes up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD can accommodate even the largest of game libraries, while booting and loading games in mere seconds. The G700 supports PCIe Gen 5 storage for gamers wishing to upgrade their long-term storage down the road.

Coolling and upgrading

The cooling aspect of the G700 is also a highlight; because with great power, comes the need for great cooling. The tower includes four high-performance 120 mm case fans, providing ample airflow for both air and water-cooled configurations of the machine.

Air-cooled models feature a tower air cooler for the CPU, while liquid-cooled variants come equipped with a 240 mm AIO, offering the lowest possible CPU temperatures and fan noise, according to ASUS.

For PC enthusiasts who do love a spot of tinkering, the G700 is also simple to upgrade, featuring completely tool-less access via the side panels for easy cleaning and component swaps.

Availability and pricing

ASUS ROG G700 is available from R79 999 on ASUS Eshop, Amazon and Computer Mania.
